Could this be your Cinderella story?

Could this be your Cinderella story?

In today’s edition of Springfield Organic Spa and Beauty the spotlight falls on one of what I would deem,

the most beautiful pieces of art work in Springfield… right here in our own back yard.

On our journey to discovering organic beauty from the inside out, let us take a momentary detour, as you will, to celebrate one of the most beautiful, and yes, romantic Holidays, Valentine’s Day!

Love is in the air, and I for one think it is a sad shame that our grass is not luscious green; our rose gardens are not in full bloom: and the sun is not shining and warming our skin at a moderate 70 something degrees.   At this time, when we are celebrating the joy of love and romance, we seek beauty and fulfillment in other ways.

For generations roses, jewels, candy, floral arrangements, and many different assortments of wines and spirits, have been given, to show that special someone just how much we really care.  A romantic, candlelight dinner in some tucked away and hidden favorite nook, is also one of the many ways for us to celebrate our love in all its glory and splendor.

Since this articles focus is on spa and beauty, I would like to suggest to you, the reader, a way to think outside of the box,  break out of the rut of blasé and ritual, and instead, this year, do something new, adventurous, and invigorating.
Floral arrangements wilt and fade away, a distant yet beautiful memory.  Ahhh…and candy is so sweet and divine…but as the age old adage says, “A moment on the lips, leads to a lifetime on the hips!”

We have just celebrated the birth of the New Year 2012.  Many of us, as well as our loved ones, have made resolutions to get in shape and lose weight.  As well, many of us are doing very well with these New Year’s Resolutions.   So imagine, having lost 10 or 15 lbs., and being handed a box full of luscious, delectable chocolates.  Pringles coined the phrase, “Once you pop, you can’t stop,” but dare I say, as mine and I am sure many of you, our weakness for chocolate is known almost infamously.  Why, one succulent Cherry Cordial or deliciously creamy Turtle would set most of us into a ravenous eating binge, thus ruining the progressive we have made thus far.
